Nor confuse him with facts.
April 28, 2011Time to make this totally legal!
April 22, 2011We are not amused!
April 16, 2011I made a 1 PM appointment at Otto Cadillac here in Albany for this afternoon. I need to get my NYS Safety Inspection.
I showed up at 1255. My car was finally moved for the safety inspection after 2 PM. They tried to make nice by not charging me for the wipers I needed to pass the inspection. I would have rather paid for them if I could have been out of there by 1:30. I finally left about 2:35 or so.
I don’t think very much of their service. I’ve had shorter waits in doctor’s offices.
Looking Spiffy
April 15, 2011I just received my VIP [Vets In Perfection] polo shirt with my Vette’s name on it: RED SHIFT! Woot!
From a friend:
April 14, 2011With respect to our entire government in Washington, DC, I’d like to quote Mark Twain, who once said,
“One man alone can be pretty dumb sometimes,
but for real bona fide stupidity there ain’t nothing can beat teamwork.”

Now this will be interesting if they can pull it off.
I love the series. Heck, I’m a character in White Dragon. 🙂
Something to remember!
April 12, 2011How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these. – George Washington Carver, scientist (1864-1943)
A way to cut the budget!
April 5, 2011A friend is against Socialized Medicine. I agree. Let’s cut out of the budget Medicare, Medicaid, all medical benefits associated with SS, and last, all medical benefits associated with the VA! This will save LOTS!
Tactics
April 5, 2011An acquaintance, noting that the Republicans are intent on gutting Medicare & medicaid, as well as cutting any sort of benefits for the poor thought this a good strategy. Let the old & poor die off. This cuts into the Democrat’s support. 🙂
Something to consider.
April 4, 2011The root of all superstition is that men observe when a thing hits, but not when it misses. -Francis Bacon, essayist, philosopher, and statesman (1561-1626)
