It is interesting to note that when a picture of the struggle between Israel and the Arab/Muslim countries appears, the pictures of the Arabs/Muslims are of weeping women & crying children. When pictures of Israelis appears, it is always of some hard faced soldier with a gun. Am I missing something?

You may be missing the fact that Isreali casualties from small rocket attacks are far lower than the wholesale devastation being visited upon Palestinians.

Maybe. I wonder about how much “lower” the numbers really are. Too bad the Arabs/Muslims never thought about the Palestinians, in fact kicked them out of their countries, for decades.

From Jan. 5, 2008 article @ uwired.com
“Before the ground invasion by Israel on Saturday, there had been 430 Gaza casualties, including 26 women, 74 children and an unknown number of male civilians. Israel has suffered four deaths from the rocket attacks.”
I also found out during a Google search that for the whole of 2008, there were only 11 Israeli death from rocket attacks. While this is 11 deaths too many, it is way out of proportion to the carnage that Israel is visiting down upon the Palestinians.
As far as the Arab countries are concerned (and contrary to popular belief, Arab and Muslim are not interchangable. One is an ethnic group and one is a religion), anyone who follows history understands that Arab countries simply use the Palestinian genocide as a way to keep their own disenfranchised citizens distracted from their own lack of democracy. But that does not absolve decent people’s obligation to decry Israel’s injustice.
