Tyranny is what we get for refusing to accept personal responsibility for our thoughts and actions and for our moral and ethical positions. Tyranny invites division and violence among us, but it certainly does seem that tyranny based on the “word of god – whether the Judo-Christian, Muslim or the god of “-ism”s (communism, capitalism, etc) must be the most destructive of all.
Escaping tyranny means refusing to yield ourselves to those who seek domination and empowering ourselves as Gandhi did – through non-aggressive action, simply becoming the change we want to see.
