A short while ago I read a fascinating book: “A Skeptic In The Holy Land” by Fulton Oursler. It was written in the mid-30’s. – One thing that struck me was his observation that while the Jews in Palestine were planting orchards, etc., the Arabs were tending their goats, as they have done for a very long time, and wondering why Allah wasn’t making life better for them. – I guess, the Christian adage, that G-d helps him, that helps himself. – My question now is just how much has changed over the past 70+ years?
